ZEPF RoBa-Edition
by dentist Beck
Dedicated to the long-standing employees Mr. Horst Roos and Mr. Reinhold Bacher, who worked for Helmut Zepf for more than 50 years since their time as trainee. The ZEPF ROBA-Edition completes the innovative advancement of the famous ZEPFXcision Extracting Forceps. It has been developed under the aspects of a secure and gentle appliance.
Key Advantages
- The problem of tooth fractures during extraction is considerably reduced due to the innovative geometry of the beaks. The new ONYX coating makes the impact-resistant surface of these extracting forceps almost indestructible.
- Compared with other methods, ONYX coating is applied with significantly less heat, preserving material integrity.
- The surface provides excellent sliding features to counteract contamination, preventing incrustation of proteins.
- The matt-finished black surface avoids OT light reflection and enhances contrast in the OR environment.
Advanced Design Features
With the patented RoBa-Edition, HELMUT ZEPF introduces a new generation of extracting forceps. Derived from ZEPFXcision Instruments, it is tailored for secure and gentle extractions. The redesigned beaks ensure maximum grip and are available for all teeth types—incisors, premolars, molars, and wisdom teeth.
The beaks are adapted to the natural convex contours of all teeth. The handle design is a protected creation of HELMUT ZEPF in cooperation with Dr. Maty, Germany.
Product Features
- Serrated jaws prevent slippage between the tooth crown and the inner contour of the beak.
- Concave inner contours align with the convex tooth structure for secure grip during extractions.
- Engineered to prevent tilting during rotary or lifting movements.
- Tapered beak edges allow subgingival access for deep grip.
Onyx Design
Black Finish Coating
Design meets functionality with a sleek, non-reflective black finish that is smooth and scratch-resistant. Instruments marked with TI denote this coating.
Diamond Version
The RoBa-Edition forceps are also available with diamond-coated beaks for superior grip. These models feature a gold-plated handle base and are marked with D in the article number.
