NIZAM Ringstanze
Remember how you extract CTG or tuberosity in previous cases?
The use of keratinized tissue grafts is an important element in oral surgery.
For example, free gingival graft, root coverage, papilla preservation, peri-implant soft tissue augmentation, and more.
However, KTG harvesting methods are often technique-sensitive and require a high level of surgical skill. They can also lead to complications such as bleeding, donor site pain, or necrosis.
The NIZAM Ring Punch
It’s a secret weapon to extract CTG from the palatal side.
The ring method is a simplified novel KTG harvesting technique in the maxillary tuberosity area.
A special KTG harvesting punch is fabricated to obtain ring-shaped KTG that has a uniform thickness. This type of graft can be used for peri-implant and periodontal soft tissue augmentation purposes, with successful clinical outcomes.
