The newly developed HELMUT ZEPF Suture Removal Scissors combine two essential functions into a single instrument.

Sectioning and Retaining

These curved micro scissors have earned recognition in periodontal microsurgery for their precision. They are designed for controlled cuts in soft tissue, with their primary role being the sectioning of sutures (see illustration 1).

The curved design enables ideal access to all oral regions. One blade is micro-serrated to prevent both tissue and thread from slipping during use (see illustration 2).

The innovative trademarked gripping function allows the scissors to not only cut the suture but also retain and remove the thread afterward—eliminating the need for a second instrument (see illustration 2).
